Survivors include her daughter, Sue Davidson; a daughter-in-law, Lois Linkous Stephens; grandchildren, Kelly Arthur and husband Chad, Jennifer Gillispie and husband Kevin, Michelle Sparks and husband Richie and Lacy Cox and wife Melinda; Great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Hall and husband Tanner, Tanner Gentry, Corey McGuire and wife Brittany, Lili Cox and Andrew Cox; great-great grandchildren, Asher and Bristol Hall, and Ava McGuire; and her very special, devoted friend and caregiver, whom she thought of as family, Tammy Simmons.
In keeping with her wishes, Winnie will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Raleigh General Hospital, Pastor Lewis Arnold, and the staff of Evans-Calfee Funeral Service.
