Vivian Gaye Rowe Bailey, 71, entered into rest on April 28, 2026. Born in Wyoming County, she remained a lifelong resident of West Virginia. Vivian was a devoted mother and a cherished sister whose greatest joy in life was her children. She took immense pride in being their mother and loved them deeply. Vivian found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She especially enjoyed shopping and could often be found searching for a good bargain. When she wasn't out and about, she enjoyed relaxing at home watching movies.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Lee Rowe and Marjorie Gaye Blankenship Rowe.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Ronald, Anthony, and Robert; her brother, Gerald Rowe; her two sisters, Darlene Carter, and Jeanette Bailey, and a host of loving family and friends.
"And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve" - Isaiah 14:3 (KJV)
In keeping with her wishes, Vivian will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family via our online guestbook at www.evans-calfee.com.
