Vickie Mae (Osborne) Brown

Vickie Mae Osborne Brown 71, of Cyclone, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born May 30, 1952 in Matheny, she was the daughter of the late Alda and Florence Harvey Osborne.

Vickie was a devoted Pastor’s wife, alongside her husband Pastor Lucian Brown ,she served the wonderful people of Russell Missionary Baptist Church for over Thirty Five years.  She served for many years as the church treasurer, and also played the piano. Vickie loved fishing, gardening, feeding her hummingbirds, cooking for her family, going to grandchildren's ballgames, and going to church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who always put the needs of others before her own.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Toni Osborne and Patricia Paynter and her brother Terry Osborne.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her loving husband of fifty five years Rev. Lucian Brown.; Three children Marsha Copley and her husband Larry, Thomas Brown and his wife Maria, and Amber Halsey and her husband Harold; six grandchildren: Tyler Copley and his wife Morgan, Trevor Copley, Tiffany Copley and her fiancé Christian,  Abby Brown and her fiancé Bryce, Benji Brown and Emilee Halsey; four sisters: Jackie Ratliff, Sharon Robertson, Margaret Abbot, and Jody Osborne; three sisters-in-law:  Darlene Osborne, Joyce Webb and her husband Carlos, and Emma Brown; a host of extended family; and her beloved church family
