Timothy Layne Hatfield

Timothy “Timmy” Layne Hatfield, 64, of Coal Mountain, passed away unexpectedly at his home.

Born March 2, 1959 in Man, WV, he was the son of the late Drewey and Margaret Almeda Hoosier Hatfield.

Timmy was a “jack of all trades”, there wasn’t a project he wouldn’t take on. He loved the outdoors and spent most of his time in the mountains. He was a coal miner in his younger years.

Timmy was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dusty, Randy, Dennis and Johnny Hatfield; paternal grandparents, Grat and Dottie Cook Hatfield; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Alta Morgan Hoosier.

Timmy is survived by two brothers, Daniel Hatfield of Coal Mountain and David Hatfield of Midkiff and two sisters, Brenda Hatfield and Diana Hatfield both of Coal Mountain.
