Stephen Smith Obituary

Stephen “Darrell” Smith, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home.

Born January 28, 1950 in Key Rock, WV, he was the son of the late Oley Smith and Marie Walker Smith.

Darrell enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping. An avid fan of the WVU Mountaineers, when he was home, he was often watching them play basketball or football on tv. He was also a big fan of NASCAR.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Delilah, his daughter Pooh and his son Jack.

Survivors include his grandchildren Cody Smith and wife Melissa, Preston Breeden, Belle Smith, John Ellis and Emily Ellis; great-grandchildren Zoey Smith, Lilly Smith, Kaiden Southers and Bentley Smith; his sister Gloria Spence; and daughter-in-law Tara Smith.
