Shirley Ann (Lester) Ellis

Shirley Ann Lester Ellis, 66, of Oceana, passed away peacefully Thursday December 17, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born July 15, 1954 in Beckley she was the daughter of the late Guy and Lorine Fisher Lester.

Shirley attended Clearfork Valley Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending the Women’s Mission Society and helping with Vacation Bible School. She also attended the The Well church. Shirley worked for Goodson’s Supermarket in Oceana for thirty-three years. In her spare time, she was an Avon representative. She loved helping people.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda and Sandra Lester.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Nathan Lester of Oceana; sister, Patsy Miller and her husband Boe of Kopperston; three brothers, J.C. Lester and his wife Marlena of Oceana, Larry Lester of Beckley and Bernard Lester of Lynco.
