Sandra was born in Cuyahoga, Ohio on January 26th to John and Patricia Paynter. She lived there for a short while, until her family made the move to Detroit for a short time, then made their final move to West Virginia, where they settled. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was a lover of many many things, including cats, low budget movies, books books and more books of all kinds. Her favorite season was autumn and her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. She loved to go to the movies with friends and family, and even had a small scrapbook collection of their adventures.
While she was passionate about her love of learning about various subjects, medical science and investigative journalism were in her top favorites. She devoured books of all kinds, and was a magpie of interesting and random factoids. It is nearly impossible to place into words the amount of things she enjoyed or the ways that she left her mark on those involved in her life. She affected the lives of So many loved ones, and was so proud that she “spread out her weirdness”.
When you remember her, I know she would’ve hoped for happy memories, full of Halloween parties, sleepovers with popcorn and bad movies, and all her forever long phone conversations.
