Ruth Cline Obituary

Ruth Ann Sanders Cline of Kopperston took the hand of Jesus on Sunday, March 22, 2020. “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide by darkness.” -John 12:46. Praise God Forever!

Ruth Ann was born November 8, 1946 to the late Charles W. Sanders and Virginia Eskew Sanders.

Ruth Ann loved her family and her church. She was the central figure in her family and a loving presence to all who knew her. Ruth Ann was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother to her loved ones. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years at Bible Baptist Church in Kopperston. She loved volunteering her time with the children at her church through Christmas plays and Vacation Bible School. Ruth Ann loved to go to flea markets with her husband and going on vacations with her family. She dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was watching movies, going to restaurants, or helping them study for college classes.  They could always count on her to be there for them. She will dearly be missed by all who had the privilege to love her. As her Aunt Janice said many times, “If you met her, you loved her.”  She lives in peace, warmth and love with our Savior forever and ever.

She joined her sister, Susan Toler and nephew Paul Toler in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ellis Arthur Cline; a son, Mark Allen Cline of Kopperston; a daughter, Tonya Lynn Knutson and her husband Keven and son Jacob of Lantana, TX; two grandsons, Dylan Blaylock of Pineville and Dalton Cline of Kopperston; one granddaughter, Taylor Blaylock of Lantana, TX; her niece, Alyssa Brooke Toler of Matheny; and a very special aunt, Janice Whitlock of Charleston.

The family is currently unable to have public services at this time due to circumstances beyond their control.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
