Ruby Lois Toler Lyons 86, of Saulsville formerly of Brenton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday January 31, 2020 following a long illness.
Born April 11, 1933 in Logan county, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanchey Hall Toler.
Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. This commitment to her family was only overshadowed by the love she had for her Lord. Along with her husband, she faithfully served the Lord for many years. She now rests from her labors, and her good works will follow her for generations to come.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Harmie Lyons, her 3 son's Thomas Ray, David Eugene, and Harmie D. Lyons III, her daughter Kathy Morgan, her brother Donald Toler, Sister in Law Betty Toler, two granddaughters Melissa Workman, and Elizabeth Miller. Great Grandson Kyle Jerry Dale Morgan.
Those left to carry on her legacy include her 4 children Patricia Green of Saulsville, Phyllis Miller of Brenton, Francis Green of Bluefield Va, and Del Lyons of Beckley. 3 sons-in-law Eddie Green of Bluefield Va, Jerry Morgan of Sun Hill, Douglas Freeman Miller of Brenton. 9 grandchildren,24 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen and Unheard but always near, Still loved and still missed and very dear. My heart is so filled today because Mom and Dad are reunited in Heaven today. I love you Mom and Dad.
Services will be Thursday February 6, 2020 at 1pm in the chapel of Evans-Calfee Funeral Service, in Pineville
Family may greet friends from 11am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery Brenton. Family and friends will serve as Pall bearers.
