Roger Dale Johnson

Roger Dale Johnson, 71, passed away unexpectedly at his Rockview home, Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

He was born December 19, 1953, in Pineville, WV, to the late Willie Steele Johnson and Joyce Wahls Johnson.

Roger was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country proudly for six years. With his deep appreciation for spending time in nature, his position as Building Maintenance Supervisor at Twin Falls Resort State Park proved to be the ideal location for him to work until his retirement.

When he wasn’t enjoying time with his family, or taking one of his frequent nature walks, he could be found tending to his garden.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Pamela Johnson; two sons, Kelly Wayne Johnson and Kevin Lee Johnson and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Ryan Lee Johnson and Lucas Steele Johnson; brothers, Barry Johnson, Eugene Johnson and his wife Kay, and Timothy Johnson ; and a host of extended family and friends.

In keeping with Roger’s wishes, he will be cremated, and no public services will be held.
