Robert Lee Martin

Robert Lee Martin, 77, of Oceana, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2025.  Born on October 23, 1947, Robert was the son of the late Kenneth and Gladys Martin.  Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War.  He was a lifelong member of the Oceana First Church of God.  In his spare time, Robert enjoyed working on old cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Martin, one sister, Virginia Martin, and two great grandchildren, Conner Toler and Jackson Toler.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and faithful wife of fifty-eight years, Ann Martin. One son, Jeff Martin and his wife Kim.  One daughter, Robin Toler and her husband Randy. Three brothers: James Martin, Ralph Martin, and Jackie Martin. Five grandchildren: Aaron Toler (Kassi), Derek Martin (Mallory), Jeremy Toler (Kashawna), Kristy Preece (Evan) and baby Swade, and Donovan Toler (Haleigh).  Two great grandchildren: Raylynn Toler and Abel Toler, and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:00am at Evans-Calfee Funeral Service Oceana.  The Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm.  Following the service, Military Honors will be conducted by the Wyoming County Honor Guard and Robert will be laid to rest at Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny.
