Rhonda Sherry (Aliff) McCoy

Rhonda Sherry McCoy, 75, went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2026.  Rhonda was born on August 23, 1950, to the late Elmer Aliff and Elouine Toler Aliff.  She was a resident of Clearfork, West Virginia, for over forty years before relocating to South Carolina.  Rhonda enjoyed nothing more than going to church and was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She was a talented singer and musician. She sang with The Gospel Hightones for many years and also played the piano and organ. She loved to go shopping and she had two dogs that were her babies. She was a faithful prayer warrior, a loving mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Ellis, one brother, Roger Aliff, and two sisters in law: Sharon Aliff and Heidi Aliff.

Those left to cherish her memory are her one and only son, Matt Roberts and his wife Jennifer Roberts. Four grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Jimmy Roberts, Kiaya Roberts, Logan Hutto, and Molly Hutto.  Her siblings: Edsel Aliff, Vickie Blankenship and her husband Larry, Rick Aliff, Martha Gregory and her husband Erwin, brother-in-law, David Ellis, and a host of extended family and friends.
