Rena Lattie Thomas, 47, of Pineville WV, was welcomed into heaven by her baby boy Kyle, along with her husband Leonard, & her Dad Johnny, on July 25th, 2022, At University of Kentucky Lexington, Ky
Rena was born January 14th, 1975 in Beckley, WV to Judy Cook Lattie and the late John Lattie III.
She was a 1993 graduate of Pineville High School. Where she made many life long friends.
She was a former employee of Mullens Manor Assisted Living.
Until her illness, she was Assistant Administrator at Kyle’s Assisted Living. She loved the staff and resident as her own family.
She is preceded in death by her son Leonard ‘Kyle’Thomas, husband Leonard S. Thomas, Jr, her Dad John W. Lattie III, maternal grandparents Willard and Susie Cook, and paternal grandparents John, Jr, and Louise Lattie.
Those left to keep her memory alive include: her children Mikayla ShiAnne Thomas & companion Jacob Bess of Oak Hill, William ‘ Kody’ Thomas & companion Emilie Shumate and Kimberlyn of the home, her Mother Judy Lattie of Rockview. Sister Sandra Lynn Steele of Oak Hill, WV, Brother Christopher Lattie & companion Heather Parker
brother in laws Rocky and Tammie Thomas, of Pineville Billy ‘Bo’ and Christy Thomas, of New Richmond.
She was Aunt NaNa to Dee & Haileigh Steele, Megan, Connor, & Jackson Lattie, Carter & Abigail Parker, Timmy, Christian, Bethannie, Charlie Jo, Dalton, Sydney, Alex, Bellamy, Layla, Ryland, and Tyler Thomas
She was great Aunt Honey to Victor Steele
Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family at Kyle’s Assisted Living.
Rena’s big personality, love for laughter & adventure will live in our hearts forever.
She is now dancing with her baby boy Kyle and the angels.
