Ranal Morgan

Ranal Morgan, 80 of New Richmond gained his wings on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Roanoke
Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Born September 2, 1941, in Long Branch (Simon) WV to the late Azzie and Martha Morgan.
Ranal loved being outdoors, he loved to go fishing but most of all he loved gardening. He would be in
the garden from sunrise to dark. He was a lifelong Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Anyone that
knew Mr. Morgan knew he loved and cherished his family. Ranal raised 8 kids and enjoyed every minute
he had with them and his grandkids. He did everything he needed to make sure his family was provided
for.
Ranal was preceded in death by his beloved parents Azzie and Martha Morgan; his brothers: William
Morgan, June Morgan, Roger Morgan, Rodney Morgan and Ronald Morgan and his wife Opal; his sister: Maylee Maynard: his
granddaughters: Laken Morgan and Suzanna Morgan and also a great grandchild Titus Morgan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years Debbie Morgan of New Richmond, his 8
children Mary (Fred) Feathers of Bluefield, Cyndle Sansom of New Richmond, Eva Morgan of New
Richmond, Cody Morgan of Kentucky, Shasta (Nick) Hatfield of Pineville, Anita (David) Moul of Pineville,
Jimmy Morgan of Kegley, Vincent (Deanna) Morgan of South Carolina also two step kids he helped raise
Joey Haynes of Lake Bottom and Eddie Haynes of Ohio. His Grandchildren who he loved dearly: Carynn
Sansom, Logan Stacy, Bentley Powell, Paisley Morgan, Nick Hatfield, Hunter Hatfield, Alley Milam,
Tommy Milam, Autumn Moul, Eric Johnson, Randy Hall, Destiny Feathers, Jennifer Dempsey, Tasha
Morgan, Bethany Peterson, Autumn Bailey and several great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two
sisters Helen Cline of Sun hill, Minnie Elkins of North Carolina and two brothers Jackie Morgan and his wife Mildred of Cedar
Creek and Tommy Morgan of Long Branch, and a sister-in-law Emma Morgan.  He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Services will be on Monday August 22, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of Evans-Calfee Funeral service, with Roy Johnson officiating. Friends may call from Noon until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery, Pineville.
