Peggy Ann Mullins

Peggy Jewell Mullins, 76, of Jesse, WV passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.

Born June 16, 1943 in Jesse, WV, she was the youngest daughter of the late William Harrison Jewell Sr. and Vergie Halsey Jewell.

Peggy was a charter member of Pineville Southern Baptist Church, where she was active in service for the church and loved her church family.

She loved deeply and was a pillar of strength for her family. She was self-sacrificing beyond reason and at her happiest when she was helping others.

Her passing leaves a void that can only be filled with the joy of knowing that she is reunited with all the family that has gone before and they are having a glorious reunion in Heaven that our earthly minds can’t imagine.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Angela R Dickerson and husband, Lewis of Ghent, Thomas E Bland II and wife, Sherri of Pineville  and Charles D Bland  of Pineville; four grandsons, Thomas E Bland III, Michael Bland, Logan R Bland and Christian A Bland; her dear sister, Irene Laxton of Pineville, her “baby” brother, David Jewell and wife, Vergie of Bentley, LA; and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Pineville Southern Baptist Church, PO Box 584, Pineville, WV 24874.
