Pauline Lorraine (Long) Akers

Pauline Lorraine Akers, 69, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1955, to the late Emmett and Lilly Long. 

Pauline cherished time spent with her family and found great joy in playing with her dolls.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers: Nathan Perdue and Richard Long, four sisters: Pansy Craig, Nita Prater, Bonnie Adkins, and Linda Cox, and one half-sister, Wilma Griggs.

She is survived by one sister, Juanita Griggs.  Her longtime friend, Tommy Griggs, and his two children: Sandra Lester and Frank Griggs.  Two grandchildren, Ashlynn Griggs and Noah Griggs, and a host of extended family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Pauline will be cremated, and no service will be held at this time.
