Norwood Glenn McLamb

Norwood Glenn McLamb, Sr., of New Richmond, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 81.  Norwood was born October 23, 1943, to Willis McLamb and Thelma Lee.

Norwood spent his career as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his hardworking nature. Outside of work, he found joy in gardening, woodworking, and canning foods. Whether tending to his garden, crafting with wood, or preserving food through canning, Norwood’s hobbies were a testament to his resourcefulness and care.

In addition to his parents, Norwood is preceded in death by three siblings: George, Alama, and LaLa.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda McLamb. Two sons: Cheyenne McLamb and his wife Gloria, and Norwood Glen McLamb Jr, his daughter Rhonda McLamb  Two stepchildren: Harvey Puckett and wife Teresa, and Peggy Abshear and her husband Mike. Two sisters: Ada Almond, and Marie McLamb Lee, Ten grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Jean Bryan.  He also had two special friends, Pat Adams and Yvonne Rae.

In keeping with his wishes, Norwood will be cremated and a memorial service held at a later date.
