Nollen Onyx Shumate

Nollen Onyx Shumate, born December 3, 2023, passed away suddenly at his home Monday, March 25, 2024.

He was always such a happy baby, always smiling and loved cuddles from his mommy, daddy, and siblings.

Nollen was preceded in death by his great-great grandmother, Audrey Wooten; great-great grandfather, Ermel Prince; uncle, Austin Sizemore; and great-uncles, Paul Prince and Zendyl Prince.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Amy Petro and Micah Shumate; three sisters, Jayce, Maeleigh, and Payton; two brothers, Corbin and Kyson; grandparents, Amy and Sheldon Ellis of Davin, Roger Hash of Pineville and Misty Shumate of Ohio; great-grandparents, Garland Wooten of Mallory, Dandra Shumate and husband David of Ohio and Elizabeth Hash and husband, Roger of Pineville; aunts, Michelle and Maggie Davis of Charleston, Jenny Tomblin and husband Joshua of Lorado and Sara Bailey of Davin; uncles, Kevin Hash, Jacob Shumate and David Sizemore; a host of cousins: Alexis, Joshua Jr, Maci Grayson, Maddison, and Cami; and a host of relatives and friends.
