Nathan Paul Cook Sr, 71, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, following a long illness.
Born April 23, 1951 in Mullens, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Emmanuel Cook and Ruby Walls Cook.
Paul was an Oak Hill High School graduate and worked as a coal miner for forty- two years. He was a member of the Local 17 and retired from Alpha Coal Company. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Pete, Frank, Bobby and Mark Cook.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Brenda Tilley Cook; children, Nathan Cook and wife Heather of Princeton, Matthew Cook and wife Jessica of Princeton and Aaron Cook and wife Rachael of Pineville; grandchildren, Nathan Paul Cook III, Noah Hayden Cook, Tyler Dakota Cook, Logan Matthew Cook, Brianna Suzanne Cook and Aaron Brandon Cook II; and sisters, Judy Lucas, Betty Kelly, Tammy McClung, Brenda Cruikshank and Kitty Francis.
