Naomi Sue Cline

Naomi “Sue” Cline, 75, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her home.

Born May 28, 1946 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Cook and Ora Short Cook.

Sue was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County. She was a member of Brenton Baptist Church, a real estate agent for over twenty years and a former member of the WV State Senate, where she proudly represented District 9 from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Cline.

She will be dearly missed by her two children, Carla Thomas and husband J.C. of GA and Joshua Cline and wife Talina of SC; sister, Connie Stafford and husband Dave; brother, Ralph Cook, Jr; grandchildren, Siara Pope, Taylor Thomas, Jackson Thomas and Sophie Cline; four great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
