Nannie Mae McComas Adkins 88, of Keyrock went to her heavenly home on Friday February 19, 2021 following a long illness. The past 6 years Nannie made her home at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she was loved dearly, and she loved them.
Born February 20, 1932 to the late John and Mary McComas. Nannie was best known as a great cook and the most requested dish was her Chicken and Dumplings. You never left her home hungry. She enjoyed raising her garden (which was the size of a football field), canning her harvest and then sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nannie was preceded in death by her husband Arthur "Ott" Adkins, brothers Luther and Auldie McComas, sisters Mazie Lane and Laura Lane.
Family left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda (Bobby) Christian, and Ricky (Joan) Adkins. Her three grandchildren: Tiffany (Steven) Hunt, Christopher and Skyler Adkins. One great-granddaughter Mackenzie Grace. A special tribute to those who honored Nannie throughout her life, Roger Adkins, Virgie England, Lucille Adkins and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family, and countless friends.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care, kindness, and for all the love they gave to Nannie.
