Nancy Sue (Barber) Day

Nancy Sue Day, 78, of Glen Fork, passed away peacefully Saturday October 7, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born September 22, 1945 in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Arlie Barber and Mabel Burleson Barber.

Nancy was a member of the Ark of Safety. She enjoyed reading her bible, crafting and taking care of her flowers. Nancy loved people and never met a stranger. Her greatest joy was getting together with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; brothers, Jimmy Griffith and Bill Barber; sisters, Mary Richardson and Ella Mae Carter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tim Day and his wife Linda and John Day; sisters, Sheila Hurst and her husband, Randy, Charlotte Scott and her husband, Ken, Daisey Bryson and her husband, Rick and Sada Barthold; brothers Doug Barber and his wife, Avis and Marvin Barber and his wife, Lynn and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Nancy.
