Nancy Jeanine Baldwin

Nancy J. Baldwin departed from us on her birthday, June 25th, 2024, at the age of 67. She is survived by her two children, her son, Joshua James Anthony Reichert, and her daughter, Jamie Leigh Reichert. Also surviving her is Megan Bacheldar, whom she considered a daughter, along with many cherished friends whom she regarded as family such as her three friends she considered her sisters Barbra Workman, Susie Griffin, and Teri West. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Nianza and Albert “Whitey” Baldwin, her brother Albert Baldwin Jr., her spouse Tony Reichert, her cousin Carolyn Clay, and her dear friend, whom she held as a sister, Susan England. Nancy's radiant presence illuminated every room she entered. She approached every challenge with perseverance, never shying away from any mountain in her path. Her virtues were abundant, and her zest for life was unyielding. Nancy pursued her education at the University of Central Florida and Marshall University. Throughout her life, she embraced various roles including that of a model, a special metal chemist for NASA, a contract commercial painter, a restaurant owner, a successful business owner, a devoted mother, and a loyal friend to many. While her surviving family will forever feel her absence, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit family surely welcomed her with open arms, allowing her to rest in peace. We will always remember Nancy for the light she brought into our lives, her fearless attitude towards challenges, her culinary magic in the kitchen, her green thumb in the garden, her remarkable sense of fashion, her inclusive love for all, and above all, her infectious smile and laughter.
