Mary V. Dominick O'Neal (89) of Alpoca, passed away at home after a long illness.
Born November 13, 1936, on Bud Mountain, WV, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Rosie Fish Dominick.
Mary was a beloved wife, a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for over 40 years and regularly attended services at the Bud Alpoca United Methodist Church. She was a prayer warrior filling every moment with prayer for her friends and family until her final days.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Junior" O'Neal; brothers; Vince (Janice) Dominick, Sam (Joan) Dominick, Tony "Junior" (Peggy) Dominick, sisters; Josephine Dominick, infant Little Mary Dominick, brothers-in-law, David Williams, Kermit Tilley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Betty (Steve) O'Neal; grandchildren; Anthony Mitchem, Rebecca (Jonathan) Mitchem Ross, great-grandson; Elijah Mitchem Ross, sister; Edith Williams, sisters in law; Betty Tilley, Bonnie (Fred) Whitt, special friends; Dot and Cody Lambert of Cherokee, NC.
Services will take place at noon, Friday May 22, 2026 at Calfee Funeral Home, Pineville, WV. Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you take your family out to eat. Mary always wanted people to spend more quality time with their families and for them to be well fed.
