Margaret Lee Goode

Margaret Lee Goode went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 9, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 1, 1929 in Burchton, WV,  she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Slack and Elizabeth Ferrell Slack.

Margaret loved to travel with her girls and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended The Family Worship Center in Beckley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil and two grandsons, Timmy Adkins and William Goode.

Those left to cherish Margaret’s memory are her son William Goode and his wife, Carolyn of Beckley; her four daughters, Sherry Peterson and husband, Terry of Beckley, Elaine Adkins and husband, Tommy of Key Rock, Tammie Huffman and husband, Richard of Clendenin and Lisa Laxton and husband, Terry of Pineville; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
