Marc A Schofield

Marc Anthony Schofield, 55, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born December 6, 1968, in Beckley, WV, he was the son of the late Johnny Schofield and Ruth Woods Schofield.

Marc was a retired coal miner and longtime Assistant Football Coach at Wyoming East High School. He was a member of First Church of God in Mullens and a devoted grandfather. There was probably no greater fan of Florida State than Marc.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Schofield; four children, Kelsey Brooks, Marcus Schofield, Peyton Schofield and Tess Riffe; seven grandchildren; a host of extended family; and countless friends.
