Louise Madeline (Giobbi) Cook

Louise Giobbi Cook, 99 years old, of Oceana, WV, passed away July 8, 2025 at Logan Regional Medical Center.  The daughter of Peter and Maria Giobbi, she was born June 15, 1926, at Thorpe, WV.  Louise was a member of the Extension Homemaker Club of Oceana and a member of the Oceana Woman’s Club.  She attended the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pineville.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dale C. Cook, sister Margaret Frazier, and brother Joe Giobbi.

She is survived by: daughters- Delores Cook Browning (Larry Huffman), and Gwendolyn Skidmore (Charlie), son- Richard Dale Cook (Deanna), special nephews- Warren (Jackie) Frazier and Robert (Doris) Frazier, grandchildren- Shea, Chris, Joe, Jared, Maria, Spencer, and Brett, great grandchildren- Olivia, Lena, Luke, and Lucy, and a host of extended family and friends that she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Evans-Calfee Funeral Service Chapel in Oceana.  Funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00pm.
