Lawrence Russel Tilley

Lawrence Russel Tilley, 76, passed away peacefully at his home, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Born January 25, 1949, in Twin Falls, WV, he was the son of the late Lawrence Wayman Tilley and Sarah Lorine Tilley.

Lawrence enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially digging for ginseng, hunting, and fishing. He got great satisfaction when he found a good deal while out thrift shopping, but he was always happiest when  surrounded by his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, April Tilley; his grandson, Joshua Simmons; and his brother, John Gilbert Tilley.

He is survived by his eight children, Melissa Canterbury, Bobby Tilley, Tony Tilley and wife Tammy, Renee Martin and husband JJ, Scottie Tilley, Tracey Tilley and wife Anna, Penny Tulin and husband Sean and Stasha Woods and husband Randy. Also surviving are Twenty Two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Minnie Trump and Enis Rhinehart; a special niece, Birchie Blankenship; two special nephews, Rickie Trump and David Trump; and a special great-niece, Sarah Trump.
