Larry Short Obituary

Larry Junior Short 80, of Pineville passed away on Monday February 7, 2022 in Raleigh General Hospital.

Born July 25, 1941 in Baileysville he was the son of the late Verlin and Flora Short.

Larry was a coal miner for over 30 years. He enjoyed Deer hunting, and riding around with his wife.

He was Preceded in death by his Brother, Vern Wayne "Bobie" Short, His sister Eilzabeth "Mousie" Daniels, and his daughter Sherry Lawson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Dixie Privett Short, his granddaughter Christina Lester, his great grandson Jamie Lynn Lester, and his sister Janet Hope Spears, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
