Obituary
Larry Lyons 71, of Jesse, passed away Tuesday March 7, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness. Born January 3, 1952 in Coal Mountain, he was the son of the late George and Ruby Workman Lyons.
Larry worked as a coal miner, for over forty years. He spent most of that time working at Eastern Associated Mine in Kopperston. He loved hunting, working in his garage, and enjoy every moment he spent with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years Cynthia Lyons. His children: Terry L. Lyons, Walter W. Lyons and his wife Michelle, and Hunter L. Lyons; His brothers and sisters: Roy Lyons and his wife Sheila, Linda Fritz, Delores Lyons Argabright and her husband Harris (Rocky), George Lyons Jr. and his wife Brenda and James Lyons and his wife Patricia; his grandchildren: Melany Lyons, Tiffany Lyons, Tasha Ahrens, Mysteria Parker, Jordon Hypes, Tesla Lyons, Makaila (Rose) Lyons and Kelsey Ponder. nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
