Laken Colton Hunter Morgan

A blessing from God, Laken Colton Hunter Morgan was born May 20, 1997 at Princeton, to Diane Barnett, and Vincent Morgan. Laken Grew up in Lashmeet and Bristol Tn. As a child, she was alswys happy and smiling, earning her the nickname "Smiley".  Laken loved adventure. She enjoyed ziplining, skating, swimming, 4 wheeler riding.  She loved traveling, going to beaches, big cities, drawing, listening to music, hanging out with friends, but most of all, she loved her daughter.  Laken had a contagious smile, a personality that could brighten anyones day, and a heart of Gold. She had the ability to make anyone laugh, no matter what kind of mood she had. She made friends everywhere she went, loved everyone and judged no one. Laken touched many lives and sadly gained her wings on October 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her sister Suzanna Ranal Morgan, and paternal grandmother Betty Sue Shell Morgan.  She will be forever missed by daughter, Madison Bryant of Dallas N.C.  Her mother Diane Barnett and her second dad, Scott Dotson of Dallas N.C. Her father Vincent Morgan and second mom Deanna Morgan of Laurinburg N.C. Her maternal grandparents Melvin and Ruth Green of Welch, Her Paternal Grandparents Ranall and Debbie Morgan of New Richmond  Sisters: Natasha Morgan "twin" of Dallas N.C. Courtney Bowman and her husband Jeff of Bristol Va. Bethanie Peterson and husband Sean of Mississippi, and Autumn Bailey of Princeton. 6 nephews: Wyatt Morgan. Daniel Morgan, Aston Morgan, Xander Morgan, Raylan Copley, Landon Bailey, and Niece Katana Taylor and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Scott Dotson, Rick Green, Jadan Green, and Jeff Bowman
