Kenneth Lee Belcher, 84, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
He was born August 19, 1939, in Clear Fork, WV to the late Virgil Lee Belcher and Ruie Cook Belcher.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the US Army. Once discharged, he put his excellent mechanical skills to use and purchased a service station that he owned for many years while living in Chicago. After retiring, he continued to enjoy working on vehicles as a hobby. He also enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family. Kenneth loved to cook and was known for his delicious salmon patties.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of almost Sixty years, Drema Hall Belcher; his son David Belcher; and seven siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two children, Pamela Graybeal and Vicky Whiteman; his granddaughter Ashley Whiteman; two brothers, Danny Dean Belcher and James Belcher and wife Jenny; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
