Jason R Lusk

Jason Ray Lusk, 41, of Kenova, WV, formally of Oceana, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born January 7, 1979 in Beckley, he was the son of Donnie and Linda Lusk of Fairdale and Joni Thornsbury of Weston.

Jason was a 1997 graduate of Oceana High School and an employee of Willet Products in Kenova.

He loved his son, Grayson, who was the light of his life. He also liked spending time with his family and friends. He had a great interest in motorcycles, mechanic work and music.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph C. Lusk and Lucille Nichols; his maternal grandparents, James and Joyce Thornsbury; and two uncles, Ronnie Joe Lusk and Joseph C. “Tee” Lusk Jr.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Grayson Lusk of Fairdale; a sister, Amanda Lusk of Beckley; one brother, Conner Lusk of Fairdale; two step-brothers, Jayson Bennett and companion, Sue of Cool Ridge and Eric Bennett of Beckley; two nieces, Bre’Aunna Thomson and Kayleigh Lusk of Fairdale; two aunts, Franchiski Dixon and husband, Richard of Turkey Dip and Jennifer Cline and husband, Charlie of Beckley; one uncle, Jamie Thornsbury of Lynco; the mother of his son, Pam Redman of Ripley; his mother-in-law, Crandle Redman of Ripley; and a host of cousins and other loving family members and friends.
