James Vance Obituary

James Douglas Vance 79, of Lucasville Ohio, formerly of Cabin Creek, passed away on Thursday December 1, 2022.

Born April 5, 1943, in Logan County, he was the son of the late Clyde Perry and Nava Delena Toler Vance.

James was a coal miner and enjoyed working in the mines. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his ex-wife Maggie West: his brothers, Ted Vance, Jerry Vance and Lonnie Vance: his sister, Helen Lester.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Jane Clemons and husband Douglas. His brothers, Johnny Vance, Eddie Vance, Samuel Vance and Tommy Vance.: his sisters, Linda Walker, Carol Vance, Judy Nieman, and Rosemary Montoya. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins
