James Chester “Jay-Bird” Stafford 65, of Pineville passed away on May 12, 2024.
Born December 5, 1958, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Harry Buster and Nellie Mae Prater Stafford.
Jay-Bird loved walking around Pineville and talking to people, going hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Stafford, and his fiancé Carolyn Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory include his Three siblings: Darlene Hurley, Wendell Scott Stafford, and Eddie Stafford. Josh Clay, whom he loved and raised as his son, and his wife Gabby. A host of Extended Family, and countless friends.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
