James Lafferty

James Lafferty, 76, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born April 10, 1946 in Glen Rogers, WV, he was the son of the late Willard Lafferty and Gladys Bailey Lafferty.

James was an avid gardener, enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time with his family. He never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings: Ed, Frank, Belle, Mae and Jean.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Maxine Lafferty; son, Curtis Blankenship and wife Latasha of Ravencliff; daughters, Debbie Forrest and husband Michael of Ravencliff and Cathy Rollins and husband Randall of Glen Rogers; grandchildren, Brittany and Dakota; two great-grandchildren, Dusty and Jordan; a brother, Willis Lafferty; and a sister, Pansy Blankenship.
