Jackie Lee Mullins

Jackie Lee Mullins, 68, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at McDowell Healthcare Center in Gary.

He was Born October 2, 1955, in Welch, WV to the late Noah Mullins and Oma Mitchell Mullins.

Jackie loved the Lord and was strong in his faith. An avid WVU fan, he enjoyed watching his Mountaineers play, watching westerns and most of all, being with family. He was a retired coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nellie Rowe; four brothers, Thomas, Roger, Randall and Edward; Kevin Bishop, whom he loved as his own son; two nieces; and two nephews.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Georgia Perdue; his longtime companion, Kathy Bishop; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Mullins and Marcella Mullins Stackhouse; five nephews; five nieces; an extended family; and many, many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of McDowell Healthcare Center for the wonderful care that Jackie received during his stay.
