Jack Pizzino Obituary

Jack R. Pizzino 92, of Glen Fork passed away on Saturday February 15, 2020 following a long illness. 

Born May 3, 1927 in Sabine he was the son of the late Charles (Carmelo) and Catherine Sciacca Pizzino.

Jack was a 1945 graduate of Glen Rogers High School, was a former justice of the Peace, was a longtime store owner in Glen Fork, he was former owner of the Glen Fork TV cable, and retired as the purchasing agent at the Wyoming County Courthouse, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in Hampshire County. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 7 brothers Joe, Frank, James, Tony, Sebastian, Pete, and Johnny. 5 sisters: Mary, Levia, Nutzie, Emma, and Joan. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 66 years Helen Pizzino, his daughter Elizabeth Morgan, 2 Grandchildren: Casey and his wife Megan, and Karly. 4 great grandchildren Cosby, Clover, Orion, Sawyer, and  one more on the way. 

Services will be held on Friday February 21, 2020 at 11am in the chapel of Evans-Calfee in Pineville, with Brother Gene Reid officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, in Beckley. Friend may gather with the family from 10am until service time Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Hospice of Southern West Virginia
