Harry Wayne Wyatt, 73, passed away unexpectedly, at his home, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
A lifelong resident of Wyoming County, he joined the US Airforce shortly after graduating from Pineville High School. Upon returning home a decorated veteran and serving during the Munich Crisis in Germany, he attended West Virginia State University.
Harry was both talented and creative. He had a beautiful singing voice which beautifully showed while singing along with the hymns at Cook Memorial Baptist Church. He absolutely loved attending services there and appreciated the kindness of the pastor and members.
An exceptional artist, his gift shines through in the beautiful paintings that he completed during his life. Painting was not just Harry’s favorite way to spend time but also the way in which he expressed himself.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent Jo Wyatt, Garland Roberts and Glenn Roberts and a sister, Novela Jean Wyatt.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Devonna Wyatt, Earl Wyatt and Lyneulle Wyatt; a host of nieces and nephews; and his neighbor and dear friend, Allan Cline.
Harry will be cremated and a memorial service with military honors will be scheduled in the near future.
