Harold Halsey, 79, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born October 10, 1942 in Jesse, WV, he was the son of the late Oscar Halsey and Vida Pendry Halsey.
Harold was known for being a hard worker his whole life. He worked for Eastern Coal Company for thirty-four years, was the co-owner of Laurel Valley Service Center and never stopped working on the family farm.
He was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda and sister, Kathleen England.
Harold is survived by two sons, Bobby and wife Janet of Beckley and Harold Jay and wife Amber of Cyclone; daughters, Tammy McMillion and husband Eugene of Glen Fork and Francis Morgan and husband Greg of Matheny; grandchildren, Miranda Brunty and husband Jerad, Katelyn Cassady and husband Brandon, Andrew Halsey and wife Whitney, Kelsey Tygrett and husband Adam, Hannah Morgan and Emilee Halsey; great-grandchildren, Jace Brunty, Mila Brunty, Teagan Ellis, Falon Cassady, Amelia Halsey and Lynden Tygrett; and two sisters, Beatrice England of Beckley and Juanita Craner of AZ.
