Hallie Louise Lackey

Hallie Louise Lackey, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

She was born November 17, 1948, in Matheny, WV, to the late James Milam and Hallie Elkins Milam.

Hallie treasured the memories that she and her husband made during the many motorcycle adventures they went on throughout the years. It was not uncommon to see them going down the road and Hallie smiling from ear to ear, with her arms wrapped around David’s waist. When not touring the countryside, she enjoyed working around the house and spending time outside. Her family meant the world to her, and she loved them all dearly. She was a longtime member of Rockcastle Baptist Church and loved her church family.

Hallie will be greatly missed by her best friend, and husband of fifty-six years, David Lackey; their two children, David “Joey” Lackey and Eva Crews and husband Don; a very special granddaughter, Emily; three brothers, Bill Milam and wife Lynnor, Rev. Jim Milam and wife Shirley and Steve Milam; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
