Gregory Wayne Rollins, 60, of Oak Hill, went home to be with his savior on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Gregory was born July 5, 1959 in Logan, WV; he was the son of the late Rev. John H. Rollins and Ruth Mullens-Rollins.
He was a graduate of Oceana High School with a 4.0 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society. He was an honorably discharged disabled Navy veteran.
Greg loved to play his guitar and banjo and loved to sing. He had an immense love for music. He was very humble and big hearted. He supported many charities and organizations. Greg had great respect and love for everyone he knew, or even a perfect stranger.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Blankenship and her husband, Lonnie Blankenship and a special uncle, Rev. Wayne Rollin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jennifer LeAnn Paynter and her husband, Phillip of Cyclone; his two grandchildren, Haleigh Brook Paynter and Seth Aiden Lee Paynter of Cyclone; his ex-wife, Janet Rollins of Cyclone; four brothers, Tom and Becky of Altus, OK, John H. Jr. and Kris Rollins of Salt Rock, Gerald D. Rollins of Beckley and Bill and Fannie Rollins of Cyclone; a sister, Fannie Rollins Edwards of Kopperston; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
