Gladys Cox Obituary

Gladys Sue Thacker Cox, 73, of Pineville, passed away Saturday April 10, 2021. Born January 12, 1948 in Paintsville KY she was the daughter of the late Grover and Arretta Leedy Thacker.

Gladys enjoyed reading and watching the Hallmark channel. She loved being a nurse and spent her life taking care of people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Grover, a sister, Sandra and a nephew, Jonanthon. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Franklin Sluss and his wife Julia of Myrtle Beach SC and Michael Sluss of Pineville; brothers Perry, Richard and Brian Thacker; sisters, Judy Elswick, Gloria Lester and Teresa Thacker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
