Gerald Dean Dancy, 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

He was born September 7, 1955 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Claude Dancy and Sarah Webb Dancy.

Gerald was a proud veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed reading, listening to music and being outdoors. Gerald had the special gift of taking care of others and took such joy in doing so.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey and Terry Dancy and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include two sisters, Betty Cook of Wyoming and Judy Stewart and her husband, Hank of Jesse; nieces and nephews, Sue Ann Shrewsbury, Tara West, Elizabeth Stewart and Jonathan Stewart; six great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces.
