Georgia M Perdue

Georgia Marie Mullins Perdue, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.

The daughter of the late Noah Mullins and Oma Mitchell Mullins, she was born in Welch, WV on December 7, 1943.

Georgia was a very faithful woman of God and always put the Lord first. She loved cooking and baking for her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Her brother and best friend, Jackie Mullins passed away exactly one week before Georgia took her last breath. They had an unbelievable bond.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Perdue; four children, Charlie McPeak, Jimmy McPeak, Shelby Woolum and Geraldine McPeak; four brothers in addition to Jackie, Thomas, Roger, Randall and Edward; her sister, Nellie Rowe; and her great-grandson, Robert Green Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her six grandchildren, Donnie Moore and wife Glenna, Rebecca Frost and husband David, Tanqueray Woolum, Sherry Green, Mariah McPeak, and William Woolum; one great-granddaughter, Shelby Green; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Mullins and Marcella Mullins Stackhouse; five nephews; and five nieces.

Georgia’s family would like to thank the staff of McDowell Healthcare Center for the excellent care they provided to Georgia.
