Florence Ruth "Missy" (Osborne) Harris

Florence Ruth “Missy” Osborne Harris, 44, of Harper, WV, made her final journey home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from Charleston Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 21, 1980, the daughter of Darlene Osborne and the late Terry R. Osborne of Cyclone, WV.

Missy was a 1999 graduate of Oceana High School.

In addition to her father, Missy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alda and Florence Osborne and her maternal grandparents, Wilburn and Ruth Bailey; her aunts, Toni Lesa Osborne, Patricia Paynter, and Vickie Brown; her uncles, Roger Paynter, Arnie Ratliff, Ronnie Abbott, Glenn Robertson, Lucian Brown, Ernest Bailey, and James Lusk; and father-in-law, James Michael Harris.

Missy is survived by her mother, Darlene Osborne; her husband, James Michael Harris; her sons, Levi Blaine Crider, Jamie Wayne Crider, and Luke Judson Harris; her brothers, John Osborne and wife Misty, and Tony Osborne; niece and nephew, Austin Osborne and Julia Osborne. In addition, she is survived by her aunts, Jackie  Ratliff, Margaret Abbott, Jody Osborne, Sharon Robertson, Beulah Lusk, and Yvonne Belcher; uncles, Wilburn Bailey and wife Eva and Pierce Bailey and wife Linda, Doug Bailey, Dewey Bailey, and Kennith Joe Bailey and wife Pamela; her mother-in-law, Donna Harris; sister-in-law, Jennifer Rose Harris; and many cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank friend and pastor, BJ Evans, and the dedicated nurses and personnel of Charleston Memorial Hospital who were caring angels contributing tremendously to Missy’s dignified and peaceful final journey home.

Pallbearers taking Missy to her final resting place will be her sons, Levi and Jamie Crider and Luke Harris, her brothers, John and Tony Osborne, her nephew, Austin Osborne, and friends, Russ Hoffmeyer and Randall Price.
