Everett Doc Vance

Everett Vance, 68, of Kopperston, WV went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025.  Born on January 12, 1957, Everett was the son of the late Bill Vance and Helen Perry Vance.  Everett enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, and spending time with his family.  There was never a dull moment with Everett, he was always making jokes and loved making people happy. He greeted everyone with a smile and will be remembered by all who knew him for being so caring and friendly toward others. 

Everett is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Shalonda Vance.  Also left to cherish his memory is one son, Joshua Stacy and wife Summer of Kopperston, and one daughter, Kelcee Stacy of Oceana.  Two grandchildren, Everleigh Stacy and Easton Stacy, whom he adored and were his greatest joy in life.  Everett will also be missed by his loyal companions; his dog, Lightening, and cat, Flurry, and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hidden Valley Center Nursing Home in Oak Hill for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided to Everett.
