Obituary
Estes Allen Nichols, 99, of Pineville, passed away Sunday February 12, 2023.
Born February 24, 1923 in Lizemore, he was the son of the late Brooks and Gertrude Walker Nichols.
Estes was a Veteran of World War II, he owned many businesses over the years, but he was best known for Nichols Quick Clean which he ran with his wife, Vesta and for doing home repairs for everyone. His last years were made more comfortable by his caregiver Kara Lester and her family that he loved as his own.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years, Vesta; his daughter, Diane Bowen; son in law, Brian Hall; five brothers and five sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Nancy Hall; granddaughter, Heather Bateman and her husband, Chris; brother, Brooks Nichols; special nephews, Barry Nichols and Wayne Nichols; his caregiver whom he loved as a daughter, Kara Lester and her son, Miken to whom he was a devoted Poppy.
