Ernest "Ernie" Browning

Ernest “Ernie” F.  Browning Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2023, at VCU Medical Center in VA. Born March 1, 1948, in Pineville, he was the son of the Late Frank Ernest Browning and Gladys Blankenship Browning.

Ernie was a veteran of the US Navy. He loved to hunt and enjoyed traveling with his job. His greatest love was his spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; his brothers, Freddie and Darrel and his sister, Brenda.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Ernie Browning Jr. and his wife, Samantha and Kevin Browning and his wife, Carrita; grandchildren, Andrew Browning, Michael Browning, Katelyn Browning, Chloe Browning and Andy Cook; great grandchildren, Kerrigan, Khylan, Colt, Andrew Jr.,Brystol and Wyatt; brothers, Benny, Ronnie and Butch Browning and a host of extended family and friends. Military rites will be conducted by the Wyoming County Honor Guard.
