Eric Owens

Eric Owens, 55 of McGraws, went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 16, 2025.

Born March 26, 1970, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Earl and Georgia Trump Owens.

Eric loved collecting old bottles, but the Joy of his life was his grandchildren. He cherished every moment he had with them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Jackie and Shirley Sanders. His brother: Steven Owens. His sister: Kathy Owens.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Andrea Owens. Their children: Zakk Belcher and Hailee, Corey Lucas, and Savannah Lucas and Chris. His Grandchildren: Jaxon Belcher, Avery Belcher, Kinslee Blankenship, Waylon Belcher, Benji Gross, Mason Gross, and Zayd Gibson. His sister: Robin Farley and Greg. His brothers-in-law: Shawn Sanders and Kim, and Michael Sanders and Amanda. A very dear friend whom he loved as a brother, Preston “Bob” Orndorff. Nephews and Nieces: Justin, Darah and Ashleah Owens. He also loved his dog Dixie, or “Crazy” Mutt as he called her.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern West Virginia, Lisa Briers, and Heather Hood for the wonderful care they provided for Eric.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
